**Compatibility**

# Check what works on your device.

The app and log have different requirements from on-device AI. Choose a feature to see the needed OS, device and connection.

## Akcje / Actions

- [Get Fitaily](https://apps.apple.com/pl/app/fitaily/id6759451052)
- [On-device AI](/features/on-device-ai/en)

## App requirements

Fitaily on iOS requires iOS 18 or later.

- iOS 18 or later
- iPhone or iPad
- A Fitaily account to use the log

_These are the app requirements. On-device AI has five additional conditions, listed below._

## Fitaily on iPhone

iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later.

## On-device AI requirements

For text: iOS 26+; for photos in Private mode: iOS 27+. Both require a compatible iPhone with Apple Intelligence, the feature enabled, the model downloaded and AI consent in Fitaily.

- An iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence
- iOS 26 or later
- Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings
- The model downloaded
- Your AI consent given in the app

| Feature | What it needs |
| --- | --- |
| Meal description analysis | All five conditions above |
| Activity estimates | All five conditions above |
| Recipe from a text description | All five conditions above |
| Meal photo analysis | In Private mode: a compatible iPhone with iOS 27+. In cloud mode: internet and Premium. |

## Apple Intelligence and model availability

The iPhone alone is not enough. Compatible hardware, the system version, Apple Intelligence being on and the downloaded model all matter. Fitaily checks this on every analysis and shows the reason when something is missing.

## Fitaily in the browser

Your log and selected features work in a browser. Features powered by Apple Foundation Models are available only in the app on a compatible Apple device.

## Integrations

Each source syncs a different set of data. Here is exactly what works.

### Strength workouts and heart rate

*Apple Watch*

The watch sends a strength workout to the phone, and heart rate from the watch feeds a live session.

### Measurements and activity

*Apple Health*

Reads supported data, including measurements. Writes completed workouts and related samples. Body weight and circumference are not currently written to Apple Health.

### Connect IQ

*Garmin*

A strength plan and completed sets reach the watch, and a cardio activity comes back as a FIT file.

→ [Integration page](/integrations/garmin/en)

### Import and uploads

*Strava*

Strava activities show up in your log, and you can upload a strength workout to Strava.

### Training equipment

*Bluetooth / FTMS*

Heart rate straps plus FTMS bikes, treadmills, rowers and ergometers. Works in a live session.

### AI assistants

*Fitaily MCP*

A remote MCP server gives assistants access to your log, workouts and recipes.

→ [MCP page](/mcp/en)

_No integration is fully bidirectional. The scope of syncing differs between sources and features — above is what is actually transferred._
