Ingredients
- 300 g dried pasta
- 150 g smoked bacon
- 200 g halloumi cheese
- 3 łyżeczka garlic paste
- 2 łyżeczka ginger paste
- 1 łyżka gochujang paste
- 300 ml chicken broth
- 150 ml 30% cream
- 1 szt salt and pepper
- 1 szt fresh parsley
Preparation
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions. Before draining, set aside a cup of the pasta cooking water.
- Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon for 2–3 minutes, until it turns golden brown.
- Add the sliced halloumi and cook for 1–2 minutes, until the edges become crispy.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and gochujang paste. Sauté for about 30 seconds, until the aromas are released.
- Pour in the hot broth and cook over high heat for 3–4 minutes, allowing some of the liquid to evaporate.
- Reduce the heat, pour in the cream, and cook for 1–2 minutes, until the sauce becomes thick and glossy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to coat it thoroughly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the pasta cooking water.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and finish by sprinkling with fresh parsley.
