COMPARISONS

One app for nutrition, training and progress — how does it compare?

Fitaily combines a meal diary, strength training, running and progress analysis. We compare it with apps that do one of those things exceptionally well — without declaring a winner in every category.

FOUR COMPARISONS

What do we compare Fitaily with?

Each comparison has its own feature table, a section on the competitor's strengths and a list of situations where another app is the better choice.

Fitaily vs Fitatu

Two apps with a meal diary. Fitatu focuses on its product database and meal plans; Fitaily connects the diary with training and progress.

Three states: Yes, Partly and Not confirmed. The last one does not mean “it is missing” — it means the vendor does not confirm it publicly.

CHOOSING

Who is each app for?

Fitaily — one place for everything

If you want the diary, strength training and running in one app and prefer to run selected AI analyses locally on iPhone.

A specialised app

If you only need a product database (Fitatu, MyFitnessPal), community and segments (Strava) or a polished strength log (Hevy).

Check the limits

Fitaily is not best in every category: its product database is smaller than MyFitnessPal's, it has no segments, and cloud features require Premium.

INTEGRATIONS

What Fitaily syncs

Each integration covers a different scope and none is fully bidirectional. Below is what the app actually supports.

METHOD

How these comparisons are made

  • We compare features, not opinions — we do not publish invented reviews.
  • Three states in the tables: Yes, Partly, Not confirmed.
  • Every table has a verification date and refers to the vendor's public materials.
  • We do not declare a winner — we show each app's strengths and Fitaily's limits.
  • Prices and plan terms stay in the App Store so we never publish outdated amounts.

Frequently asked questions

Is Fitaily better than Fitatu, Strava, Hevy and MyFitnessPal?

Not in every category. Fitaily wins on breadth: nutrition, training and progress in one app. Fitatu and MyFitnessPal have larger product databases, Strava has community and segments, and Hevy has a polished strength log.

Where does the data in the tables come from?

From the vendors' public materials and documentation, checked on 22 October 2026. We do not guess: if something is not confirmed, we say so.

Why are there no prices?

Prices and plans depend on the region and the App Store. We show them only in the app and in the App Store so we never publish outdated amounts.

Does Fitaily work without internet?

The diary and training save locally and sync when the connection comes back. Cloud features, including photo analysis in Advanced AI mode, need a connection.
